This is the first year we are offering T-Ball to our 5 & 6 year old girls. In this age division, we focus on teaching the basic skills of softball. The girls will bat with the use of a tee. Throwing, catching and fielding will be taught, along with team sportsmanship. The time commitment at this age is 2 days per week for an hour each day. This is a non-competitive league, the teams practice skills on their own for most of the season. Teams may scrimmage another team from their division. The most important factor is for the girls to have fun and learn more about playing softball. If a girl has played the Instructional level before they may be recommended to continue to play at that level. We end the season with a skills competition.
