Reimbursement for Coaching Courses

CYS encourages all coaches to obtain coaching training and will now reimburse the cost to Charlton coaches for coaching courses.

(Note that CYS does not currently require coaches to be licensed -- though many area towns require at least a "G" license for in-town coaches and an "F" license for travel coaches.)

Coaching courses eligible for reimbursement include MYSA-sponsored licensed courses and most local coaches' clinics.  Only the cost of the course-related fees are eligible for reimbursement.  Travel related costs and out-of-pocket expenses are not eligible.

You must be a CYS league registered coach (head or assistant) for at least one Fall or one Spring season adjacent to the time of the course.

Once the course is successfully completed and you received your certificate, submit a copy of the certificate and a receipt of course fees to CYS (click here for address).
