Welcome to the Charlton Youth Basketball website! Please visit often to receive the latest news on the 2007-2008 season. Next Board Meeting: Sunday August 24, 2008 at 7pm at the Town Hall Latest News and Events Scholarship Winners Announced!Congratulations to Meaghan Cayer and Benjamin Norcross, the 2007-2008 Charlton Youth Basketball Scholarship winners! Posted on: Monday, April 28, 2008 at 5:57:40 PM Summer Basketball Camp Information The Charlton Youth Basketball organization limits its activities to the winter months, and therefore does not attempt to be knowledgeable of or recommend any specific summer basketball camps or leagues. In general, there are a number of well run summer basketball camps held in the Central Mass area. Shepherd Hill Regional High School usually hosts a summer basketball league and camp. Holy Cross College also hosts a summer basketball camp. One excellent source of summer basketball camp information can be found in the Sports Section of the Sunday Telegram. Also, searching the Internet for "summer basketball camps and leagues" will yield many links to web sites containing summer camp information. Good luck and have a great summer! Posted on: Monday, April 28, 2008 at 5:53:48 PM Thank You Volunteers!!! The Charlton Youth Basketball Board of Directors would like to sincerely thank the coaches, volunteers, and sponsors who assisted us with making the 2007-2008 season an enjoyable one for the kids. Although the 2008-2009 season does not begin until November 2008, planning begins in August and the registration process begins in September. Volunteers are always needed to make sure all aspects of the League run as smoothly as possible. If you are interested in learning more about how you can assist the Board in making sure the 2008-2009 season will be an enjoyable one for the kids, please contact league director Doug Higginbotham at 508-248-0252 or email him at dhiggin@yankeecandle.com .
